Kailash Centre

The Tibet Charitable Trust was established in 1988 and operates in conjunction with the Ministry of Health of the Tibetan Government in Exile (located in Dharamsala, India), which advises the Trust of appropriate areas to distribute funds. The Tibet Charitable Trust currently supports Tibetan refugee camps in India and Nepal, funding medical supplies and the training of nursing staff. Proceeds from the charity also go towards assisting elderly Tibetans, in various parts of India. The main aim of the Kailash centre's direct role in the Tibet Charitable Trust, is the preservation of traditional Tibetan Medicine. To this end, Kailash supports the Men-Tsee-Khang Institute of Tibetan Medicine of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, as well as the Chagpori Institute (Founded by Dr Trogawa Rinpoche).

If you would like further information on these or other Tibetan projects, or if you would like to make a donation, you can contact the Kailash centre.
